Gay and fabulous in Las Vegas: the complete guide Sin City’s gay scene

There’s more to Las Vegas than gambling, burlesque shows, and quickie weddings. With a growing art and theater scene, rich cuisine, hipster bars, and a plethora of LGBT venues and offerings, the Sin City lives up to its name.

No more a straight town, Las Vegas has evolved into one of the best destination for gay travelers, boasting an impressive number of LGBT parties and clubs. No matter where you go, you will bump into a gay-friendly bar or nightclub after all.

Although there are great gay venues all over town, most of them are nestled along Paradise Road, in an area known as the “Gay Quarter” or “Fruit Loop”. The Commercial Center, which is a bit southeast of downtown, is another district where you will find a collection of gay bars and restaurants, including renowned Lotus of Siam, one of the nest Thai restaurants in the West.

You can’t visit Vegas without a stop at Krave Massive, the largest gay nightclub in the world. Featuring gargantuan dance floors, five themed dance rooms, three bars, two stages, a gift shop, and more, this is where you’ll probably find the largest concentration of go-go boys in the entire state. Nay, in the entire country!

Of course, there’s more to Las Vegas than pool parties and nightlife. If shopping is what interest you, Vegas has some of the hippest shopping malls where you can find everything from souvenirs to haute-couture pieces. The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace or Premium Outlets – where you can find great deals – are just two of the many shopping destinations in Vegas.

Oh, and let’s not forget about gambling. Once a city with a conservative and very straight attitude, Vegas’s casinos are now welcoming gay gamblers and curious with open arms.
