But don’t let Birmingham’s past keep you away from this charming city!  Birmingham’s growing LGBT community has changed it with several gay bars including Quest, and Al’s on Seventh.

From pride celebrations, a gay and lesbian film festival and a handful of gay-owned businesses you’re sure to find a place to hang out and find like-minded folk.
