Victoria Secret’s “Angels” Get Serious Competition from Androgynous Models

We all anticipate the time of the year when we get to sit in front of our TVs to watch Alessandra, Adriana, Kendall, Lais, and Lily fiercely strut their stuff down the runway at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show.

A few days ago, the Victoria Secret models did just that. However, it seems like the Angels have some major competition with celebrated comedy star Kia Comedy and 5 of her “Andro Devils”; Tamasha, Toni, Steph, Lola, and Kelz!

Kia Comedy rocked the fashion world when she introduced us to Ice: The Andro Fashion Show that featured 20+ hot models this past December 4th in Atlanta, GA. You may know Kia from the comedy circuit, but let it be known that the fashion world needs to watch out!

The Andro Fashion Show sheds light on masculine and androgynous identified women, as well as trans men, by breaking the mold and the sterotype that androgynous people and/or the trans community have no place in the world of fashion. Rocking brands such at TomboyX, Royal Dinero, Gender Free World, among many other amazing designers, the Andro models simply killed it!

Make sure you head over to Kia Comedy’s website for the next fashion show, because you don’t want to miss it! Check it out here!

Until next time.

xoxo

Supreme Court allows transgender military ban as the legal battle continues

Today, the Supreme Court of the United States has allowed President Donald Trump’s transgender military ban to go into effect; a ban that is both cruel and irrational to our community.

The policy was first announced by President Trump in July 2017 via Twitter. Since, the ban has faced legal battles in lower courts, resulting in nationwide injunctions prohibiting its implementation. SCOTUS’s decision today allows the ban to go into effect while the court decides whether to consider the merits of the case.
