What’s Up With Bisexuality?

Straight people aren’t the only ignorant group in the world.

Gay people can be really ignorant when it comes to other members of the LGBTQ community – especially when it comes to bisexuals.

Bisexuals tend to be wrongly labeled as “greedy,” “confused,” or “probably gay.” It’s annoying for bisexuals to be seen as weirdos by a community that is considered “out of the box” by a heteronormative world. What is it about being sexually attracted to both sexes that validates prejudice from the rest of the LGBTQ community? Is scrutinizing bisexuality a new form of internalized homophobia?

In this BuzzFeed video, gay people ask bisexuals questions they hear a lot, and combat the perception queer people have towards them. Whether straight, gay, lesbian, trans, or queer, this informative video will give you a new perspective on bisexuality and make you think twice before labeling bisexuals as greedy deviants.

Supreme Court allows transgender military ban as the legal battle continues

Today, the Supreme Court of the United States has allowed President Donald Trump’s transgender military ban to go into effect; a ban that is both cruel and irrational to our community.

The policy was first announced by President Trump in July 2017 via Twitter. Since, the ban has faced legal battles in lower courts, resulting in nationwide injunctions prohibiting its implementation. SCOTUS’s decision today allows the ban to go into effect while the court decides whether to consider the merits of the case.
